The root cause of panic attacks is hyperventilation. This can happen when your body becomes anxious and your muscles constrict around your ribcage causing you to begin to breathe with short shallow breaths.

To counteract this type of breathing you must practice "deep breathing". Deep breathing consists of taking full breaths from your abdomen through your nose and exhaling out your mouth, fulling expelling your breath. This takes practice to master, and that is why we have created Calming Breath.

By practicing deep breathing techniques you will begin to train your body to use your abdomen to take deep breaths and lower the occurence of hyperventilation due to shallow breathing.
